Pursuant to Iowa Code 523I
1. No lot owner shall erect or place, or cause to be erected or placed on any lot in the cemetery, any memorial in respect of which the Directors disapprove.
2. The maximum size of a memorial is determined by the size of the lot on which it will be placed.
3. The Cemetery will attempt to take care to protect the memorial, raised lettering, carving or ornaments on such memorial, but the Cemetery is not responsible for maintenance and or replacement of a memorial.
4. There shall be no enclosures around any lot. The Trustees reserve the right to remove the same.
5. All memorials shall be placed at the west end of the lot with the following exception: memorials west of Cardinal Road shall be placed at the east end of the lot.
6. The Memorials will start (concrete slab) 6 inches in from the lot line.
7. There shall only be 4 markers per lot (1 per space).
8. The name written on the monument must correspond with the individual buried in said plot.
9. The Trustees have the right to stop all work of any kind whenever, in its opinion, proper preparations have not been made, or incorrect or insufficient tools are being used, or when any work is not being executed according to specifications, or when any person employed on the work site violates any rules of the cemetery.
10. The completed work is subject to the approval of the Trustees, and, if unsatisfactory, it may be removed by the Trustees.
11. The Cedar Cemetery Association MUST be contacted before a monument is installed.
